Our Story

The experiences that shaped Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle.

Arranging fresh flowers in a terracotta vase

Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle began as Tapestry Property Management, founded on a straightforward principle: a private residence should be cared for with the same attention, accountability, and stewardship its owner would expect if personally overseeing every detail.

As our relationships with clients evolved, so did their needs.

For seasonal and multi-residence Principals, maintaining the property was only the beginning. They wanted to arrive at a home that felt less like a residence that had been waiting for them and more like returning to a favorite private retreat.

That meant thinking beyond property management.

Before an arrival, the residence came to life. The kitchen was provisioned. Breakfast was prepared. The gym, pool and spa were ready. Beach chairs and umbrellas were set. Music changed with the rhythm of the day. Rooms were refreshed, laundry handled, massage spaces prepared, transportation coordinated and reservations confirmed.

As the day unfolded, so did the service: meals, poolside hospitality, errands, guests, events, evening lighting, candles and fireplaces, followed by turndown and the quiet closing of the property at night.

Behind that experience was another layer entirely: estate operations, preventive maintenance, vendors, household staff, financial oversight, projects, renovations, travel logistics and private aviation coordination.

Our work expanded alongside Family Offices as well. Tapestry manages projects, residences and household teams in person and remotely, coordinating financial reporting and approval requests, tracking project expenditures and draws, overseeing vendors and preparing staff and properties remotely before on-site deployments.

The name Tapestry has always been intentional. A tapestry is created from many individual threads woven together into something cohesive. Our work is much the same: property, people, hospitality, travel, projects, household operations and the countless details of a Principal's life brought together so seamlessly that the complexity behind them disappears.

For us, that is luxury.

Tapestry works with a limited number of households at any given time, which means every person here is fully present for every client we serve.

Simplicity made possible by extraordinary preparation.

Vera G.

Founder

  • Estate Operations
  • Lifestyle Management
  • Family Office Support
  • Private Travel

Vera’s approach to private service began in Portugal, where she grew up in a close-knit rural community along the Atlantic coast, surrounded by family businesses, carefully kept homes, a strong culture of hospitality, and the quiet expectation that when something needed attention, you stepped forward and handled it.

That instinct became the foundation of a career spanning private aviation, estate operations, international travel, entrepreneurship, and private household service.

Her work has supported private aircraft owners, UHNW families, Family Offices, and members of a royal family across residences, aircraft, projects, and international travel. Across more than 1,400 domestic and international flight segments, Vera’s role often extended well beyond the aircraft itself, coordinating ahead with household teams, preparing for arrivals at residences and international destinations, supporting the Principal in flight, and helping carry that continuity through to the ground. The experience gave her a clear understanding of how travel, residences, staff, logistics, and personal preferences must align quietly around the Principal.

Today, Vera works at the point where estate management meets the way a Principal actually lives. Her role has encompassed residence operations, household teams, vendors, financial reporting, complex projects, private travel, property readiness, and the systems required to keep those elements aligned quietly behind the scenes.

Tapestry began as a property management company and evolved as clients required something more complete: residences that were prepared, provisioned, staffed, documented, and operated in step with the rhythm of their lives.

Working alongside Louise, Vera developed that need into a broader model combining disciplined estate operations with highly personalized residential hospitality. As the work expanded into lifestyle management, Family Office support, private travel, household operations, and special projects, Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle emerged naturally.

The Tapestry client portal grew from the same operating philosophy. Vera conceived and shaped it after years of seeing how residences, Family Offices, vendors, projects, travel, reporting, and documentation often sit across disconnected systems. It was designed to bring those moving parts into one private operating environment centered on clarity, accountability, continuity, and discretion. Her philosophy is simple: understand the experience first, then build the structure that allows it to feel effortless.

She believes exceptional private service depends on anticipation, judgment, consistency, and a strong sense of ownership. The most effective systems remain largely invisible to the Principal. What should be felt is the result: a residence that is ready, a household that moves with intention, trusted people who understand what comes next, and the quiet confidence that the details have already been considered.

For Vera, order creates peace, hospitality is anticipation, and true luxury is complexity made effortless.

Louise W.

Residence Operations

  • Property Management
  • Household Operations
  • Residential Hospitality

Louise’s approach to private service has been shaped by more than two decades spent inside exceptional residences, understanding not simply how a home should look, but how it should function, feel, and quietly support the people who live there.

Her experience spans property management, executive housekeeping, household operations, staff oversight, renovations, events, residential hospitality, vendor coordination, home systems, vehicles, maintenance, and severe-weather preparation.

Louise understands a residence from the inside out. She is equally comfortable walking a property with vendors, overseeing maintenance and household teams, coordinating sophisticated home systems, preparing for storms, or ensuring that a residence is fully ready for a Principal’s arrival. That same attention extends to guest rooms, service standards, entertaining, fine furnishings, dining support, and the details that shape how a home is experienced.

Her strength lies in the ability to move naturally between operations and hospitality. She notices what is needed, understands what should happen next, and handles it with a quiet sense of ownership.

That instinct became especially important when she began working alongside Vera during a transition within a seasonal private residence. The Principal wanted something beyond conventional property management: the attentiveness, rhythm, and ease of an exceptional private hotel, delivered within the privacy and familiarity of home.

Together, Louise and Vera developed a highly coordinated way of working. Property operations moved alongside breakfast and pool preparation, beach setups, guest readiness, spa appointments, transportation, dining, entertaining, evening ambiance, and turndown. Each understood the larger operational picture while remaining attentive to the immediate experience of the Principal and guests.

That experience helped shape the residential hospitality philosophy now central to Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle.

Today, Louise brings a practical, intuitive understanding of how a residence should operate when it is being cared for at a high level. She may be overseeing staff, coordinating a vendor, reviewing a property issue, preparing for severe weather, supporting an arrival, or noticing that something simply does not look or feel quite right.

That experience helped shape the residential hospitality philosophy now central to Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle.

Her standard is straightforward: the residence works, the details are considered, and the Principal never needs to wonder who is taking care of it.

Louise understands that exceptional homes require more than maintenance. They require stewardship, intuition, and the kind of care that can be felt without needing to be seen.

Maia O.

Executive Administrator

  • Executive Support
  • Estate Administration
  • Client Services

Maia brings a background in executive and personal support, private-residence operations, and lifestyle coordination, with a clear understanding of the discretion, judgment, and adaptability required behind the scenes of a Principal’s life.

Her experience includes supporting UHNW Principals across residences, travel, household operations, vendors, projects, events, and the administrative structure that connects them. She is particularly skilled at bringing order to moving parts, maintaining continuity across information, schedules, and decisions, and ensuring the right details reach the right people at the right time.

Maia and Vera first worked together while Maia was serving as Personal Assistant to a private Principal acquiring an international residence. Vera was brought in to establish the operational framework for the property, including staffing, training, residence procedures, and the development of SOPs for the new household.

Working across countries and time zones required close coordination between the Principal’s existing support structure and the developing residence. Maia became an important point of continuity, translating preferences, schedules, travel plans, household requirements, and decisions into the information needed to prepare the property, its team, and the Principal’s arrival.

That collaboration became an early example of the way they would later work together at Tapestry. Vera focused on the broader operational framework while Maia kept the administrative threads aligned, ensuring decisions moved forward and information remained connected across people, locations, and priorities.

Today, Maia supports Tapestry across estate administration, client coordination, documentation, scheduling, travel logistics, vendor communication, reporting, and the administrative follow-through required to keep work across residences and projects moving cohesively.

Her strength is often found in the space between the visible pieces of an operation. A vendor needs direction. A Principal’s preference must reach the residence team. A project requires follow-through. Travel changes. Documentation evolves. An approval remains outstanding. Maia keeps those details moving without allowing them to become loose ends.

She brings a calm, organized presence to work that can change quickly, understanding that excellent support is rarely about being noticed. It is about creating continuity, preserving context, and making sure nothing important is lost between one person, property, or decision and the next.

Maia believes the best support is almost invisible: details anticipated, information where it belongs, and everything quietly moving forward.
