TapestryEstate & Lifestyle

Our Story

The experiences that shaped Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle.

Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle began as Tapestry Property Management, founded on a straightforward principle: a private residence should be cared for with the same attention and accountability as if the owner were there.

As our relationships with clients evolved, so did their needs.

For seasonal and multi-residence Principals, maintaining the property was only the beginning. They wanted to arrive at a home that felt less like a residence that had been waiting for them and more like returning to a favorite private retreat.

That meant thinking beyond property management.

Before an arrival, the residence came to life. The kitchen was provisioned. Breakfast was prepared. The gym, pool and spa were ready. Beach chairs and umbrellas were set. Music changed with the rhythm of the day. Rooms were refreshed, laundry handled, massage spaces prepared, transportation coordinated and reservations confirmed.

As the day unfolded, so did the service: meals, poolside hospitality, errands, guests, events, evening lighting, candles and fireplaces, followed by turndown and the quiet closing of the property at night.

Behind that experience was another layer entirely: estate operations, preventive maintenance, vendors, household staff, financial oversight, projects, renovations, travel logistics and private aviation coordination.

Our work expanded alongside Family Offices as well. Tapestry manages projects, residences and household teams in person and remotely, coordinating financial reporting and approval requests, tracking project expenditures and draws, overseeing vendors and preparing staff and properties remotely before on-site deployments.

The name Tapestry has always been intentional. A tapestry is created from many individual threads woven together into something cohesive. Our work is much the same: property, people, hospitality, travel, projects, household operations and the countless details of a Principal's life brought together so seamlessly that the complexity behind them disappears.

For us, that is luxury.

Simplicity made possible by extraordinary preparation.

Vera G.

Founder

  • Estate Operations
  • Lifestyle Management
  • Family Office Support
  • Private Travel

Vera's approach to hospitality began in Portugal, where she grew up in a close-knit rural community surrounded by family businesses, property, food, and the quiet expectation that when something needed attention, you stepped forward and handled it.

That instinct has taken her far beyond where it began.

Her career has moved across entrepreneurship, private aviation, international travel, estate operations, and private service. She has supported private aircraft owners, UHNW families, Family Offices, and members of a royal family, working across residences, aircraft, projects, and destinations throughout the world. Her aviation career alone encompasses more than 1,400 domestic and international flight segments.

Today, Vera's work sits at the intersection of estate management and the way people actually live. She oversees residences, household teams, complex projects, vendors, financial reporting, private travel, and the systems that allow all of those elements to move together quietly behind the scenes.

Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle began as Tapestry Property Management, but the work soon became something broader. Clients wanted more than beautifully maintained residences. They wanted homes that anticipated their arrival and adapted to the rhythm of their lives: prepared, provisioned, staffed, and ready to be enjoyed from the moment they walked through the door.

Working alongside Louise, Vera began shaping a service model that brought together disciplined estate operations and highly personalized residential hospitality. As the work expanded into lifestyle management, Family Office support, travel, household operations, and special projects, Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle emerged naturally.

The name reflects Vera herself. She has always been drawn to different disciplines, cultures, and experiences and to the challenge of learning something she has never done before. She speaks multiple languages and has pursued interests, including martial arts, circuit boxing, private pilot training, ballet and Latin dance. She has a particular love of cooking, beautiful table settings, and creating thoughtful environments for dinners, gatherings, and special occasions.

She believes a beautifully managed life should never feel managed. Creating that experience depends on surrounding the Principal with people who share the same instinct for ownership, discretion, and anticipation.

The complexity belongs behind the scenes. The Principal should experience the result: a residence that feels ready, people who understand what comes next, and the quiet confidence that everything surrounding them has been considered.

For Vera, order creates peace, hospitality is anticipation, and true luxury is complexity made effortless.

Louise W.

Residence Operations

  • Property Management
  • Household Operations
  • Residential Hospitality

Louise's approach to private service has been shaped by more than two decades spent inside exceptional residences, understanding not simply how a home should look, but how it should work, feel, and quietly support the people who live there.

Her career has taken her across private residences, encompassing property management, executive housekeeping, household operations, staff oversight, renovations, events, and residential hospitality.

Louise understands a residence from the inside out. She is equally comfortable coordinating sophisticated home systems, vendors, maintenance, vehicles, and storm preparation as she is preparing a residence for guests, caring for fine furnishings, supporting a Chef, or ensuring the smallest details of an arrival have been considered.

An avid gardener, Louise has a particular appreciation for tropical landscapes and the relationship between a residence, its gardens, and the way its outdoor spaces are experienced.

There is also an unmistakable warmth to her. Her Southern accent is often one of the first things people notice, but it is the graciousness behind it that tends to be remembered. For Louise, hospitality is instinctive, she notices what is needed, often before it is mentioned, and quietly takes care of it.

That instinct became particularly important when she began working alongside Vera. During a transition within a seasonal private residence, the two found themselves moving beyond the conventional boundaries of property and estate management. The Principal wanted something more: the attentiveness and ease of an exceptional Aman-style hotel within the privacy and familiarity of home.

Louise and Vera developed an almost intuitive rhythm. Property operations existed alongside breakfast and pool preparation, beach setups, guest rooms, spa appointments, transportation, dining, entertaining, evening ambiance, and turndown.

They worked almost like a dance, each anticipating what came next and stepping naturally into whatever required attention.

That experience helped shape the residential hospitality philosophy now central to Tapestry Estate & Lifestyle.

Louise brings an ability to move comfortably between the practical and the personal. She may be troubleshooting a smart-home system, walking the grounds with a vendor, training household staff, preparing for severe weather, arranging a guest space, or noticing that something simply does not look or feel quite right.

Her standard is straightforward: the residence works, the details are considered, and the Principal never needs to wonder who is taking care of it.

Louise understands that exceptional homes require more than maintenance. They require stewardship, intuition, and the kind of care that can be felt without needing to be seen.

Maia O.

Executive Administrator

  • Executive Support
  • Estate Administration
  • Client Services

Maia brings a background in executive and personal support, private-residence operations, and lifestyle coordination, with an understanding of the discretion, organization, and adaptability required behind the scenes of a Principal's life.

Her experience has included supporting UHNW Principals across residences, travel, household operations, vendors, projects, events, and the administrative details that connect them. She is particularly skilled at bringing structure to moving parts, maintaining documentation, coordinating schedules and logistics, and ensuring that information reaches the right person at the right time.

Maia and Vera first worked together while Maia was serving as Personal Assistant to a private Principal acquiring a new international residence. Vera was brought in to help establish the operational framework for the property, including staffing, training, residence procedures, and the development of SOPs for the new household.

Working across countries and time zones required close coordination between the Principal's existing support structure and the developing residence. Maia became an important point of continuity, helping translate preferences, schedules, travel plans, household requirements, and decisions into the information needed to prepare the property and its team.

It was an early example of the way they would later work together at Tapestry: Vera focused on the larger operational structure while Maia kept the administrative threads organized and moving.

Today, Maia supports Tapestry across estate administration, client coordination, documentation, scheduling, travel logistics, vendor communication, reporting, and the many details that allow work taking place across residences and projects to remain connected.

Her strength is often found in the space between the visible pieces of an operation. A vendor needs information. A Principal's preference needs to reach the residence team. A project requires follow-up. Travel changes. Documentation needs updating. An approval is outstanding. Maia keeps those details from becoming loose ends.

She brings a calm, organized presence to work that can change quickly, understanding that excellent administrative support is rarely about being noticed. It is about creating continuity.

Maia believes the best support is almost invisible: details anticipated, information where it belongs, and everything quietly moving forward.
